Choose the original Flash Blend or the UV Flash Blend.
This synthetic material was developed by renowned American Tyer, Steve Farrar and is unique in the fact that is already tapered you only need this blend to complete the fly.
This material is a perfect blend of the Slinky Fibre and the Slinky Blend with just a fine Mylar flash.
The bleeding of colors incorporate a red and wisteria color flash. The Midnight, Violet Night, Peacock and Herring Black have a wisteria (dark blue/green). The rest of the colors have a pearl color flash blended in.
Slinky fiber blends with UV fibers developed by tier Steve Farrar. UV really adds to the fish appeal of the traditional SF Blends.

Finally, our own line of flash is here!
I am so excited to offer our own line and have some great new colors I want to introduce to everyone that is not available to other fly shops.
All the flash has the same amount of threads however some do have 2 extra threads wrapping the main color strand making a bulkier flash while others have just the main color strand offering a sleek look when you want just a hint of color.
Chironomid guys, don't worry as the Gun Metal and Steel grays that we offered before in Kreelex and Kreinik are exactly the same colors that we have here. (The Gun Metal color is the closest we've found to the original Flashabou Gun Metal Grey)
A few particular outstanding colors are:
Speckled Gold and Speckled Silver have tiny black dots on each strand
Speckled Trout is a very fine, blue holographic carrying a vast array of color
Clearwaters is a Glow in the Dark.
Orange Float, Granny Smith Apples, Sunshine and Watermelon are UV.
Salmon, Open Air and Dandelions are Transparent.
Each hank is approximately 19" long and comes in various bulks:
Bulky (B) which has one main twisted color with two additional minute threads wrapping around it.
Semi Bulky (SB) which is smaller and is slightly wrinkled or twisted and may include the two additional minute threads.
Sleek (S) is only one straight, flat thread but is either 1/32" or 1/16" wide and is usually semi-transparent or holographic.
Glacier Flash can completely replace other flashes like Flashabou in your tying boxes and is strong so if you nick the hook, it will not instantly break like some other flashes. Use Clearwaters on your wet streamers or as the wing on a Wulff pattern or replace the wool on a Red Tag with Berry Red. Tie in the UV colors in your big salmon patterns or make the popular Kreelex Fly in various colors. The uses for Glacier flash is only limited to your imagination.

Kreinik Flash in a Tube

Kreinik Flash In A Tube™ is a fine-fiber synthetic material which exhibits a metallic-like gleam. Its’ reflective properties add sparkle to the tails and wings of many types of flies. The hair-like fibers are soft and static free, making it easy to work with. Kreinik Flash is unaffected by saltwater or epoxy finishes, yet is flexible enough to be mixed with marabou, enhancing its action in the water.
Kreinik Flash In A Tube™ has many uses. It is the one and only flash to use on the Kreelex Fly. Add a few strands to the tails of woolly buggers, bass bugs, poppers, eels, and leech patterns. Mix some Flash with bucktail in streamers. Single strands can be used as ribbing on nymphs and wet flies. Possibly the most innovative use is in some of the popular dry fly patterns. The white glow-in-the-dark can be used as a substitute for calftail in a Royal Trude, or as the wing post in a Parachute Adams. It’s like having a built-in strike indicator. Or tie the incomparable Kreelex Fly like this one below.
Chironomids? Well look no further, this has taken over Flashabou. The silvers and coppers work especially great and don't forget to look for the Gunmetal Grey 011HL. It is the closest color on the market to the old 6916 Gunmetal Flashabou and has been used with incredible results.
Each package includes a clear plastic tube, making Flash easy and convenient to store while keeping stray fibers from adding clutter to your tying bench. The tube enables you to store several colors in a small tray, or bundle the tubes together with a rubber band. There are 250, 12" strands in each skein, folded over in the middle and bound with a wire tie.
What do the letters mean? Colors ending in a "V" such as 001V have a matte, less reflective finish. Colors ending in a "HL" such as 001HL are hi-lustre and are very shiny. Colors ending in a "L" such as 001L are holographic.
